An Alternative to Polyethylene

Hanover® Pedestal® Pavers are a unique alternative to the polyethylene pedestal support system. The Pedestal® Pavers incorporate the idea of an elevated paver drainage system with the use of an integrally footed, concrete paver of the highest quality. The waterproofing assembly is protected from weather and UV light and pedestrian access is permitted. Pedestal® Pavers are manufactured in 23 1/2" x 23 1/2" x 2 1/4" for Roof Ballast

applications and 23 1/2" x 23 1/2" x 2 1/4" for Architectural applications. They have a weight of 21 lbs/sf and allow an elevated clearance of 1/2". Hanover® Pedestal® Pavers are available in economical ballast finishes and come in eight standard colors: Quarry Red, Charcoal, Natural, Red 15, Tan, Brown, Cream, and Limestone Gray. However, when aesthetics are important, our Tudor® finish has a "natural" look and should be used on the installation.

To more completely tie together the installation of Hanover® Pedestal® Pavers, spacer tabs are available with each order. These are placed between each paver to maintain an even 1/8" joint and provide water access to below surface drainage. These spacer tabs should be installed as part of the paver installation at the job site. They are not visible when the installation is completed.
