Hanover® RockCurb® has been designed to provide an alternative to natural stone curbing. The stone is carefully graded and placed under a million pounds of pressure, similar to the forces which form natural stone. Extremely dense concrete with high compressive strengths gives the units low water absorption rates and salt resistant qualities. The units are consistent in size and many times more durable than poured in place curbing. RockCurb® are available in Straight, Radius and Transition Sections. They are easy to lift for repairs or for utility maintenance. If changes need to be made to the street or sidewalk, Hanover® RockCurb® can be reconfigured and reinstalled.

RockCurb® Straight Section
Hanover® RockCurb® high density concrete units are manufactured to 1/8" tolerances with the density and strength of natural stone. Straight sections are 36" long and 6" thick. They are manufactured with either a 12" or 18" height. Tight production tolerances help to simplify the installation procedure. An 1/8" joint is recommended to allow expansion through freeze-thaw cycles.

Hanover® RockCurb® is produced with an angled Battered Edge or a rounded Bullnose Edge. The 18" section is available in both the Battered Edge and a Bullnose Edge. The 12" section is available in the Battered Edge Profile and a limited number of external radii.

A specialized texture gives RockCurb® a stone-like appearance. Although the stocked color is Limestone Gray, a range of colors and aggregate blends are offered to give a broader selection of appearances. Custom aggregate blending is available when quantities permit.

RockCurb® Radius Section
RockCurb® Radius Sections can be used when the installation incorporates curves. Gentle arches or circles can be accommodated by using a combination of radii and straight sections. A complete selection of radii are available so that almost any municipal requirement can be met.

Manufactured with either a 12" or 18" height, RockCurb® sections are available in two edges. The 18" RockCurb® section is available in both the angled Battered Edge and the rounded Bullnose Edge. The 12" section is available in the Battered Edge only and a limited number of external radii. Custom aggregate blending is available when quantities permit.

RockCurb® Transition Section

Three special shapes are manufactured to allow the transition from full height curbing to the appropriate level needed for an entrance or drive. The Left and Right Transition Sections reduce the height, while the Center Transition Section provides the opening.

The Center Transition Section can be used in multiples to allow any size driveway width. The Straight or Radius Sections can be easily removed and replaced with Transition Sections to permit the transition to the level of the Center Transition Section. One of the advantages of using Hanover® RockCurb® is the ability to reconfigure and accommodate changes to the existing installation. RockCurb® is able to withstand vehicular traffic and is resistant to salt and other deicing chemicals. Custom colors and aggregate blends can be ordered when quantities permit.
